HAHAHAHAHAHAHAA THIS IS MY MOST FANTABULOUS NATIONAL DAY HOLIDAY EVER!!!!!!
First up was the early trip to Borders (currently, my favourite bookstore, way better than Popular-who is at the bottom, and Kino and PageOne-which I haven't even been to and WHO DID NOT REPLY TO MY EMAIL). Left the house at 8, met Xueting ting at 8.55 -she made me wait 10 mins, actually 20, since I arrived 10 min earlier, but nevermind- and then we happily almost lost our way, AND THE SECOND MOST EXCITING THING OF THE DAY --- SEEING ECLIPSE ON THE SHELVES!!!!!! Zomg zomg we were like hyper ventilating, hahahahahaha.
And then rushed home to read!!! Hahaha it's so sweet and I have to thank my boyfriend Edward for everything (insider joke) and of course Bella. I still can't believe that I have finally laid my hands on the all-exclusive Eclipse!!!!
Hahaha, and sad to say, Popular, Kino, Page One, whatever other bookstore out there, you lose my business because of one small (actually quite big, Stephenie Meyer's being portrayed as the next JK Rowling) book. HAHAHAHAHA, serves you all right! Woohoo I love Borders!!!!! (They even stocked the New Moon limited edt! I am so going there whenever I want something)
And today was also quite weird. While I was waiting for Xt, this china man came up and started talking in heavily accented Mandarin, asking me how to buy a standard ticket to Queenstown. Ok....
And while I was waiting for Rachel to pass the book to her, this stupid woman came up and looked me up and down and when I stared at her she asked me if I was some C-something name, and when I frowned and gave her a blank look she asked if I was from SCGS, and I told her NO! rather incredulously, like HELLO, she was disrupting my VERY precious Eclipse reading time!!!!
Hahaha and while I was crossing the road home I saw Daph's car. Hehe.
So all this is possible cause my sister went to Borders and she saw and she happily told me what she saw and I went all ecstatic trying to contact Rachel by calling her twice and both times she hanged-me-up very unceremoniously and I had to reply with a message which took all the fun out of screaming BORDERS HAS GOT ECLIPSE!!!! to her. Hahaha
Oh and I watched My Big Fat Greek Wedding last night. It is quite stupid, but funny. Even my Dad laughed, can you believe it? I had no idea that he was even watching. Hahaha.
So generally, today has been a GREAT day so far! :D :D :D
Oh yes and Peiting, Estee, Wenshin, Yurui and I went NYNY to eat aft wed! HAHAHAHA And it was so funny during celebration because Rachel and I damaged our flags beyond repair and started shooting random spells like "Expelliarmus!" and typical EBIL Rachel went "Avada Kedavra" (I'm afraid she's following in Moudly Lord Voldy's footsteps). Hahahaha
And Julia disposed of my flimsy white plastic, air-core 14" wand. And it was no where to be found! So that ended my short and brief stint at making magic. Gah. And. We got to sit in the Capsule and we saw Mr Wong and Mrs Gobi. HAHAHA and Estee and Wenshin ordered a can of 15cents-per-ml A&W root beer (it works out to $5 for one can). HAHA and it was so totally their best can of root beer for their entire lives. HAHAHA and when I left a piece of pork on my plate Estee was like "Can I have it?" And I was quite surprised so I said yup. And she poked around with her fork, and discovered it was all bone. OMG ESTEE WU IS THIS THE FIRST DAY YOU HAVE MET ME THAT YOU ASSUMED I WOULD LEAVE DELICIOUS FOOD LYING AROUND?!?!?!?!?!
Hahahahha and I have been peeling the same orange for about an hour because I have been too busy typing this entry and texting rachel and planning my second read of Eclipse simultaneously!
Oh the spell check here is great! Hahaha. Saved my time from opening Word. HEE HEE, and shit I just put a dampener on myself by telling myself that I have to start studying tomorrow. SIGH.
